Are You Making These Eyebrow Mistakes?
Never underestimate the power of groomed eyebrows. It’s amazing how much of a difference they can make to your entire makeup look! But we know from experience that eyebrow makeup can get tricky. That’s why we compiled some eyebrow makeup mistakes to avoid so you can achieve perfect eyebrows every time.
Mistake #1: Not doing anything
We’re not saying everyone needs to do a whole brow pencil sculpting session — even the fullest, fluffiest brows can benefit from a little brow gel to set them into place.
Mistake #2: Trying to make them too identical
As they say, your brows are sisters, not twins!
Mistake #3: Using the wrong shade
You don’t want your eyebrows to be too dark or too light, you want them to be just right. As a general rule, brunettes should look for shades that are one to two shades lighter than their hair and blondes should look for one to two shades darker.
Mistake #4: Not Setting Your Eyebrow Makeup
You set the rest of your face to keep your makeup in place, so why not set your eyebrow makeup too? After you groom and apply your brow pencil or powder, dust your brows with a little setting powder, and top them off with a brow gel. It’s a great way to make sure your hard work lasts all day long.
