It's no secret that we're huge fans of apple cider vinegar. From using it as a deodorant to adding it to your mud mask, this common household staple is a wellness must-have — and it's also a great addition to your beauty routine. In the latest episode of The Cut with Susan Yara, we're sharing five easy ways to ways use add apple cider vinegar in your skincare regimen. First up, toner! Raw, unfiltered apple cider vinegar contains alpha hydroxy acids like glycolic and lactic acids (which are great for exfoliating) and malic acid (which helps kill bacteria), making it ideal for treating acne.

But you can't zap your zits by splashing it directly onto your skin — since it's got acid, apple cider vinegar must be diluted before you apply it onto your face. First, mix equal parts water and apple cider vinegar, then apply it to your face with a cotton pad.
